Levi's Jeans

The Levi’s name is synonymous with denim – since the 1920s, jeans have been manufactured with the signature rivets, iconic red tag and legendary name. Today, the Levi’s operation produces a vast array of trousers for men, women and kids in addition to a selection of accessories, shirts and jackets made from the signature denim fabric that the Levi’s empire is built upon.

There are four main collections under the Levi’s label: Levi’s Red Tab Jeans, representing the more classic styles popular with men and women of all ages and tastes; Levi’s Engineered Jeans, including the popular Twisted seam jeans, such as the Levi’s 012; Levi’s Blue, a range that is more fashion-driven; and Levi’s Vintage Clothing, a collection of special garments for men and women that includes a wide range of Levi’s jeans, skirts and tops cut from original vintage patterns.

Though there are other collections bearing the Levi’s name, Levi’s jeans are organised by style number. Each style number is available in a variety of colours, or washes, depending on the season. For example, the most well-known Levi’s are the 501. You can find Levi’s 501 jeans in nearly any shop that sells clothes – you’ll find them in a variety of colours as well as different degrees of ‘wear’, from new to distressed.

Red Tab Levi’s are least influenced by changing trends, and generally available in high street shops, and major department stores as well as from scores of online outlets. Other Levi’s ranges are available from dedicated Levi’s boutiques, larger department stores, jeans specialists and online shops.
